Is responsibility to be understood as a duty – or also as a passion, as a passion for one’s neighbor? The daring attempt here pleads for such a passionate understanding of responsibility. Because the call for responsibility always comes too late: when it has not been taken seriously. But where does it come from and why should one take responsibility? For compelling reasons or traditional obligations?
