Direct and indirect restorations: recommendations and guidance on the adhesive procedures and protocols that are intended to ensure consistency
Welcome to the Adhesive Dentistry procedimientos, the osteocom curso dedicated to the world of restorative dentistry by Gaetano Paolone and Salvatore Scolavino.
The format of the course is comprised of multiple, monothematic lessons that are extended with practical examples that demonstrate the practicality of adhesive-based clinical strategies and protocols.
We begin with a description of the optimal way to utilize the rubber dam, followed by an analysis of the various uses of the zirconium and composite overcoats, the relocation of the tooth’s margin, the reattached dental fragments, the choice and utilization of the matrices, and the placement of the dam.
The objective is to provide the learner with a path to follow and an indirect method of restoring the greatest degree of stability and predictability possible over time.
What you’ll learn during this class:
The accurate placement of the rubber dam via simple, reproducible principles;
The practical application of the composite (pre-heated, flowable composite or dual-cure resin cement) in conjunction with overlays;
Control of the thickness of the occlusal preparation, tools and their application;
The relocation of the cervical margin’s principles, the dental fragment’s reattached state via adhesive strategies;
The choice and utilization of matrices in the anterior and posterior regions;
The protocol for taking photos as a means of additional information about pre-restoration in the anterior region.
