Osseous Reconstruction with Khoury Technique – Luca De Stavola
(English)
The course “Osseous reconstruction with Khoury technique” by Dr. Luca De Stavola focuses on the vertical bone increase in the posterior mandible. The course is designed to share best practices in the management of vertical atrophy cases and presents an alternative to the vertical GBR technique.
The course focuses on practical aspects of clinical management, providing participants with the necessary skills to critically analyze the defect characteristics, specific patient anatomy and treatment planning. Step-by-step approaches to vertical increase will be demonstrated, including autologous graft management, positioning and fixation of the graft, as well as soft tissue management during reconstructive surgery.
Through recorded lectures, participants will learn how to properly diagnose vertical bone defects in the posterior mandible, plan surgical and pre-prosthetic treatment using digital workflows, and evaluate alternative techniques. Detailed preliminary surgical step indications will also be provided, including soft tissue analysis, incision line, and flap lifting.
The course offers a practical and comprehensive approach, with descriptive lessons and detailed comments on clinical application of principles through surgical videos. Through this course, participants will gain innovative skills in diagnosis, planning and treatment of mandibular vertical bone increases, providing effective treatment with success and safety.
Teaching is based on a complete educational structure, with 10 recorded lessons covering all aspects of treatment. Participants will have the opportunity to learn in detail surgical approaches and visualize clinical applications through surgical videos.
